Socios Now Offering Paris Saint Germain (PSG) Fan Token

News / 29.01.2020

On the 28th of January, PSG pointed out that its fan token is now available on Socios blockchain platform. People holding PSG fan token can use it to vote on an inspirational message to appear on the captain’s (Thiago Silva) armband on the pitch.

Another token offered on Socios is an AR token hunt game for Chiliz and CH2 and may be consecutively used to purchase PSG’s fan token. Team supporters can use the fan token to vote in various binding and non-binding cosmetic decisions. These cosmetic decisions include the choice of the club’s jersey colour, stadium music and logo.

Additionally, they can use the fan token to vote on some sports aspects such as MVP, player of the match or month, friendlies matches, summer tours, charity line-ups, and more. The reward points will get awarded to the PSG fans who partake in the polling process. The number of reward points a user holds determines their possibility of winning prizes, including VIP tickets, special merchandise, or a chance of meeting players.

More on Sports and Entertainment Tokens

Reports show that PSG first collaborated with Socios to develop its fan token based on blockchain in September 2018. The initiative resulted in other leading soccer teams globally to work towards the establishment of their token assets.

Juventus noted that it is also working on a fan token with Socios. Some days ago, Juventus fans used the fan token to vote on a new goal celebration song for the first time. They played Blur’s song two whenever the club scores a goal at home.

Chiliz is also launching an exchange for fans towards the trading of sports and entertainment tokens. If the exchange opens next month, Socios soccer partnership tokens will be the first to get listed.
