Ripple’s New Job Listings Reveal Serious Efforts on XRP Adoption
Ripple is hiring now but the job openings show that the firm is working to spread adoption of the cryptocurrency asset XRP.
The firm, through its fundraising and development arm known as Xpring is looking for ten individuals to occupy new positions. Some of the positions include senior infrastructure engineer, director of product management, as well as vice president of developer relations.
The purpose of the positions is to assist the firm in creating and promoting a domain that offers engineers what they require in building enterprise applications on the XRP Ledger.
The firm said that Xpring is its open developer platform for money, and it is aimed at bringing money to the Internet. Xpring deals with open-source projects for fiat as well as cryptos.
They develop tools, provide services, and offer support to developers for ease in building its core open-source technologies (the XRP Ledger and the Interledger Protocol). Xpring helps developers to make money with applications when they use XRP and ILP.
In the previous week, Xpring noted its plan to establish a new development relations initiative to engage engineers, establish a central hub towards the sharing of content, observe events as well as obtain support.
Two months ago, Xpring released a software development kit (SDK) for the integration of payments based on XRP into their products. The positions in the job listings include an SDK and Tools engineer.
Xpring has been able to allocate XRP valued at over $500 million towards the funding of businesses related to cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology.
