IOHK, the company behind Cardano, announced on Thursday that it will begin prioritizing education this year. The company will be mainly focusing on the development and expansion of its education materials in 2020, as it transitions fully into the Shelley era.

The education team of the company has laid down a comprehensive plan for 2020 in broadening their range of materials. Their main aim is to enhance the understanding of their technologies using a variety of learning and trading assets.

IOHK also aims to provide knowledge and information to startup decision-makers to enlighten them on the solutions Cardano provides. The company claims they have many projects underway that will catalyze the growth of Cardano into a global social and financial operating system.

Several lectures on Plutus and Marlowe, IOHK’s programming languages for smart contracts, have already been held at the University of Malta. These series of lectures are set to be the basics for more modular training materials over the coming months.

To ensure a more productive learning environment within the company, IOHK has begun creating a new learning portal for its internal teams. The in-house educational resource dubbed IOHK Training Academy will streamline the processes of onboarding new employees. The company claims this initiative will be a vital resource for its staff spread across 43 countries.
