The use of tokens has added anonymity layer to gambling. Asia is a rich and addicted marketplace; hence, the availability of gambling dApps in the region is beneficial. The gambling industry took advantage of the growing online casino technologies, while likewise providing a much faster, anonymous payment tool.
Gambling dApps struggled to take the leading positions and increase visibility. However, it remains unclear whether bots handled any aspect of statistics development. At the moment, the most active of the gambling dApps is 888TRON. The leading ten dApps on the TRON network remains within the gambling category, which enables robust token transfers.
This year, the EOS platform could not accommodate some dApps. This is why EOSBet which was an active gambling environment migrated due to the consumption of EOS resources by EIDOS simulated mining. However, TRON survived because of its different approach to resources allocation.
As the new year approaches, dApps are optimistic while there isa big barrier. App storefronts are targeting startups that could break the terms of service, specifically if it has to do withfinance or gambling. The growth of Dapp helped to differentiate between successful and failing platforms.
Some platforms were hyped before this year but could not accommodate dApps in 2019. For instance, it seems there were no transfers on Tezos platform while Cardano remains mostly in testnet mode. Hedera Hashgraph failed because of faulty tokenomics; its network collapsed and part of its Council Nodesshut down.
Dapps do not indicate the success of token price but they are still a motivating use case for cryptocurrency assets.
