Blockchain Based Health-Care Platform Solve.Care Collaborates with Chainlink

News / 19.10.2020

In a recent announcement, Solve.Care has partnered with Chainlink. With this collaboration, the blockchain-based healthcare platform Solve. Care aims to integrate Chainlink’s decentralized oracle network on its platform. Thus aiming to expand and leverage the role of smart contracts in the healthcare industry.

Benefits of this partnership

This partnership will allow Chainlink’s decentralized oracle network to source and deliver the off-chain medical data. Thus allowing the execution of smart contract-based healthcare services. The partnership also emphasizes Chainlink’s oracle’s critical role in connecting key datasets and non-blockchain devices to Care Networks. These Care Networks run a range of healthcare services, including but not limited to remote monitoring of patients with chronic ailments, managing patients with diabetes, etc.

In essence, this collaboration will help the healthcare industry leverage smart contracts to measure their services’ efficiency and efficacy. At the same time, eliminating the inefficient legacy systems that are draining billions of dollars. Solve.Care is already leveraging the blockchain technology to reduce fraud and waste in the healthcare industry. With this partnership, the platform will use an external oracle to verify external medical data. Thus ensuring the secured execution of tamper-resistant smart contracts.

During the announcement, Pradeep Goel, CEO of Solve.Care said,

“This integration gives us tremendous options to use Chainlink’s secure networks to ensure a more efficient healthcare process across the industry. From individual patient care to practitioners, insurance providers, and medical device industry needs, Chainlink oracles will allow us to address our smart contract solutions’ external data requirements for the healthcare industry. This will lead to greater adoption of blockchain in the healthcare sector.”

About Chainlink

The Chainlink network provides reliable and tamper-proof real-world data to the complex smart contracts and vice-versa. By using oracles, the Chainlink network can bring off-chain data to on-chain smart-contracts in a decentralized manner. Therefore, it is basically a decentralized network of nodes that help provide data and information from off-blockchain sources to on-blockchain smart contracts via oracles. Chainlink also has its native token LINK that is being used to pay for services on the network.
