Bitcoin Ads Appear During Premier League Match
When the match between Tottenham and Liverpool was ongoing yesterday, Bitcoin ads that seemed to be from eTorowere displayed. However, this is remarkable as it is the first of its kind.
In 2019, the trading platform, eToro, signed a deal with Brighton & Hove Albion, Cardiff City, Crystal Palace, Leicester City, Newcastle United, and Southampton. These clubs received payments for advertisements in Bitcoin. The trading platform appears to be displaying ads while notable matches are ongoing.
The match ended 1:0 in favour of Liverpool, making it twenty wins out of twenty-one matches for the top club. Millions of individuals watch the Premier League worldwide and claims said more than seventy percent of the people in the UK watch it.
The firms that offered services through the internet started the advertisement of the internet; in the same way, the platforms that use Bitcoin are now advertising Bitcoin. Bitcoin ads started towards the end of 2017 with slightly inept ads similar to the first internet ads. The ads continued to improve, becoming somewhat further professional. They are now moving closer to being pervasive, but remain new, particularly in the wild.
It used to be difficult to mention Bitcoin in a conversation. However, things have changed as it is now easy to mention it and discuss at length.
Firms have started the advertisement of the cryptocurrency because they depend on it or due to certain competitive advantage it provides. However, it is still in the early stages but as time passes, it will continue to develop.
