Binance to Introduce Its First Bitcoin Mining Pool

News / 01.04.2020

A recent report stated that Binance is preparing to roll out its crypto mining pool and already has professionals for the project. The launch will take place in the second quarter of 2020, according to the report.

Changpeng Zhao, Binance CEO, confirmed the news on his Twitter account. Additionally, Zhao mentioned there are many other projects currently ongoing in the Binance ecosphere.

Industry Players’ Views on the Initiative

Binance’s move had many industry players share their ideas on the initiative. Among them is Bitriver mining farm CEO Igor Runets, who says Binance’s step is very logical for a crypto exchange.  It is because both businesses are software-based, thus no additional professional skills are needed to run them together. Runets also said that most mining pool users are also clients of exchanges the initiative is valid.

On the other hand, the Head of Sigmapool noted that Binance is already offering potential clients big referral bonuses. Binance has been reaching out to China for the promotion of the upcoming mining pool.
